sakura and syaoran at the tree

Li Syaoran is one of Sakura's companions for her field work.
He decides to go with her wherever she goes.

One night, they go to the Tree of Souls. Sakura teaches him how to pray to Eywa on its leaves.

" Sakura, now you've taught me how to connect. What do you pray for?", he said.

" It's us and the Omaticaya people." she replied.

" I hope you're praying for these people to be in peace."
he said.

" Syaoran, now we're part of Omaticaya, we should be concerned with our new family." , she answered.

" I'll do the same thing." Syaoran said.

The 2 people spend the night praying on the Tree of Souls.
