Helping missionaries

" Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
It gave me great joy to have some brothers come and tell about your faithfulness to the truth and how you continue to walk in the truth. They have told the church about your love. You will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God. "- Hebrews 13:7 , 3 John 1:3, 6( NIV)


Megamind and Roxanne continued donating some relief goods in Sendai. The rest of the other volunteers did the same. This time, they were supporting some community churches there. They met American missionaries and some Japanese believers along the way.

So they spent their time delivering and distributing relief goods boxes to the locals and missionaries. An African-American church leader named Rev. Joel Frank coordinated with the Megaminds. Rev. Frank was in his fifties and remained in Japan for 26 years.

2 days after the tragedy, his flock became volunteers for rescue and relief operation. Like Megamind and Roxanne, it was tiring but worth it, because they extended their help to the people.

This time, they were about to finish their activity. Rev. Frank was very pleased and happy to see the spouses joining in their efforts.

"Alright, it's enough for now.", the church leader said.

"These are the last boxes to be done.", Megamind and Roxanne replied as they carried them at a designated place.

The flock were very well satisfied for the number of donations.
The Reverend continued his discourse as he looked at his surroundings.

"This is we are going to do.", he said informatively. "We will divide into a group of seven. We have here some communities and evacuation centers to be passed. Choose your leaders for your activity. Remember, the ratio of distribution is 1:1."

The crowd understood the leader's instructions. Megamind and Roxanne acted as leaders in a separate group. Everyone went to their respective groups and leaders. They started to set their trail to do their mission. The brainbots were included too.

They did the whole day giving away relief goods filled with food, drinks, medicine, clothes and a bible. The recipients were grateful to have some necessities. Before and after the activity each group would pray for the survivors and their departed loved ones.

Finally, their mission had accomplished. Everyone patted on their shoulders. It was a job well done.

Megamind and Roxanne shared each other's experiences while waiting for dinner. They were so glad to execute this activity. Rev. Frank approached the spouses personally.

"I'm so thankful that you volunteered with us in this activity.", he commented appreciatively. "May the Lord bless you in your pursuits more than you can imagine."

The spouses smiled at the leader. They took minutes composing their thoughts.

"It's an honor to work with you.", Megamind replied. "I heard that you made a responsibility out of this disaster."

"Yes, I believe that the Japanese people will have a better future and hope. The Lord God brought me here to be with them in Sendai.", he replied.

"Yes, Amen to that. It's a pleasure to be with you, too.'', Roxanne added.

"Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Megamind for supporting with us.", Rev. Frank said.

"You're welcome.", they replied.


It was a fulfilling day for a husband and wife to help these missionaries. Surely, it was a great day for Reverend Frank as well.
